Tune in online from 10:30 p.m. – 12:15 a.m. at famouslyhotnewyear.com. WLTX CBS 19 will simulcast the virtual event starting at 11:35 p.m.

Is there going to be an event in downtown Columbia this year?

There will not be a live event in downtown Columbia this year, but we can't wait to celebrate with you virtually.

What time is the event? 

The virtual celebration will take place on Dec. 31, 2020, from 10:30 p.m. –12:15 a.m. on Jan. 1, 2021.

How do I get a Party Pack?

Who are the other special guests? 

The event will be filled with fresh virtual performances by previous local Famously Hot New Year artists, toasts from celebrities with South Carolina roots, a virtual performance by a national headliner, as well as some new surprises to keep your NYE as memorable as ever.

How do I donate to Harvest Hope Food Bank? 

This year’s virtual event will benefit those in need throughout our community. Harvest Hope is able to provide five meals for every $1 donation. Text BCBS to 44-321 to donate today. For a list of drop-off locations for non-perishable donations, visit famouslyhotnewyear.com/help-harvest-hope.

Famously Hot New Year receives about half of the funding necessary from the City of Columbia and Richland County. Though this year’s event will be virtual, we still need the support of corporate sponsors to produce this unforgettable evening including a national headliner.
