City of Columbia is hosting a Kids Carnival
Hosted by the City of Columbia Parks and Recreation department, the free, family-friendly event on Main Street gives all ages a chance to celebrate the New Year. Parents can spend quality time with their children on New Year's Eve, and there is much for all ages to enjoy, too--amusement rides, carnival games, karaoke, food & drink vendors. Parents can come back and see a the fireworks show as the clock strikes midnight!
The carnival takes place on Main Street in between Washington and Taylor Streets and adjacent to Main Street Ice in Boyd Plaza, which is located at the corner of Main and Hampton Streets. Bring your whole family down for games, jumps, face-painting and a Ferris wheel. When they’ve had their fill of fun, bring them home to the sitter and hurry back for more adult entertainment when the concert begins.
