Famously Hot New Year (FHNY) is accepting applications for Food and Merchandise Vendors. Requirements include but are not limited to a current City of Columbia business license, Workers Compensation Insurance, and a General Liability policy no less than $1,000,000. Vendors must apply on-line. All applications are due by October 31. Vendors will be selected by November 20. There is no application fee. However, selected vendors must pay the flat fee to participate no more than ten (10) days from notification.
The Famously Hot New Year Committee will review all applications. Vendors will be selected based on experience, demand for proposed menu item(s), and professionalism of booth set up. Vendor will be expected to arrive on time, comply with recycling guidelines, and remove all debris and property from premises by 1:30 AM.
If chosen, participants will be expected to comply with all FHNY regulations, close sales no later than 12:30 AM, and be prepared with no fewer than 500 servings of each menu item. All proceeds from your sales will be retained by approved vendor.
